We are excited to introduce Alejandro, our new manager at Luca Cinì – A Wine Story! Alejandro's extensive experience in the hospitality and fine dining industries, combined with his passion for excellence, makes him the perfect addition to our team.
Alejandro, a Mexican-Romanian chef, brings a wealth of international culinary experience to Phuket.
Born in Mexico and raised in the north of Romania, Alejandro began his culinary career in 2002 as a Pastry Sous Chef at Kreme’s Patisserie, the most popular pastry shop in Romania.
His passion for food led him to Bucharest in 2005, where he joined “Carmelita” as a Banquet Chef while pursuing studies at The Culinary Institute of America.
In 2006, Alejandro moved to New York City, where he trained at the Michelin-starred restaurant “Aquavit” under Chef Emma Bengtsson.
During this time, he mastered fine dining techniques and developed an interest in molecular cuisine.
In 2008, he returned to Mexico and joined The Royal Resorts Group, leading as Chef de Cuisine and later becoming Executive Sous Chef, managing multiple F&B outlets and large teams.
In 2013, Alejandro relocated to Phuket, Thailand, where he successfully led the F&B operations at Twin Sands Resort and later Cape Sienna Gourmet Hotel & Villas.
His reputation grew with each role, known for his innovative dishes, exceptional management, and dedication to service excellence.
After a brief stint at The Ritz-Carlton Maldives during its pre-opening phase, Alejandro returned to Phuket to join his longtime friend Luca in new, exciting culinary projects at Luca Cini and Cheebo Gourmet.
We are thrilled to have Alejandro take on this new chapter as the manager of Luca Cinì – A Wine Story.
His rich background and expertise will elevate our offerings, and we look forward to what the future holds with him on board.
Stay tuned for exciting updates and new projects as Alejandro leads our team toward new successes.
We are happy to have him, and we can't wait for you to meet him soon!
