The recent visit of the legendary Amerigo Vespucci to Phuket was a resounding success, showcasing Italian maritime splendor and bringing together a vibrant community of Italian culture enthusiasts.
The event, held from November 6 to November 10, 2024, saw the iconic Italian Navy vessel docked at the Deep Sea Cruise Terminal, attracting guests from near and far to experience a piece of Italian history.
But the highlight of the occasion was a special moment for Luca Cinì – A Wine Story and its founder, Luca, who received a prestigious award for his dedication to promoting Italian culinary heritage worldwide.
This distinguished recognition, awarded by the Italian Ministry of Agriculture, Food Sovereignty and Forests and the Italian Ministry of Culture, celebrates Luca’s tireless work as a promoter of Italian cuisine across the globe.
As part of Italy's effort to have Italian cuisine recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage, this award underscores Luca's role in sharing the art, tradition, and flavors of Italian cooking with an international audience.
It’s a fitting acknowledgment of his passion and commitment to Italian culture and his ongoing contributions to the appreciation of Italian food and wine.
We extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us, making this event truly memorable. Congratulations to Luca Cinì for this well-deserved recognition, and thank you to all who continue to support his mission.
